Jack Canfora's writing career includes
work for PBS television as well as serving as head writer
for the award winning former internet magazine Angst
American Style, where his work was featured on CNN.
His sketch comedy writing was frequently seen
Off -Off Broadway and on the main stage of the world famous
comedy club "Caroline's". The Daily News hailed his work as
"...very funny and clever." His one act comedies "Viking
Funeral" and "Dogs Playing Poker " recently played acclaimed
runs at the American Theatre of Actors last June. His work
was named a winner of the "National One Act Play Contest" in
both 2001 and 2002. His one act play "Object Permanence" has
also received many accolades, winning a Finalist Prize in
Stageplays.com's international "Best Plays 2000"
competition. The American Theatre of Actors named Jack Best
Playwright in 2002. His full length play Indelible was a
finalist in Stageplay.com's "Best Plays 2001" competition.
It was also workshopped at the "American Theatre of Actors"
where an Off-Off-Broadway.com review wrote that "rarely does
an Off-Off Broadway show have such well rounded characters"
as well as calling it "witty" and "worthy of Ibsen."
In March 2004 his play A World With Snow was
presented at Playwright's Horizons starring Austin
Pendleton.

Productions
Have produced Off Broadway Theater ranging
from the 1996 revival of Mart Crowley's The Boys in the
Band, to the critically acclaimed 21 Dog Years Doing Time at
Amazon.com at the Cherry Lane Theater. Other productions
Off-Broadway include Disappearing Act and, The Director
starring John Shea. The It Girl which premiered at the York
Theater starring Jean Louise Kelly from CBS TV "Yes Dear"
and Big Al. Adam has worked closely with Paula Poundstone,
Sandra Bernhard, Bruce Vilanch, Lea Delaria, Judy Tenuta,
Charles Busch, Margaret Cho, Michael Feinstein and Linda
Eder. During the summer Creative Concept Productions
presents theater in Provincetown Massachusetts. Shows have
included James Lescesne's Word of Mouth, PS69 and the ground
breaking 2001 Naked Boys Singing! in Provincetown
which caused Massachusetts to change its art and obscenity
laws. Dubbed Mr. Entertainment by the NY Times, in a
featured article in 2002, Mr. Weinstock has produced on both
coasts of the USA as well as in London on the West End.
Recently in LA his show Place Setting, was read by Jon Cryer,
and Steven Weber at the Coronet Theater.

Evan Bergman (Director) Recently
completed directing Off Broadway's MACHIVELLI by Richard
Vetere. Some of his credits include the world premiere of
the musical A GIRL CALLED DUSTY (Provincetown Playhouse),
which will be remounted in London in winter 2007. (New York)
GRYZK Ensemble Studio Theater Marathon 05, Off Broadway's
original production of BOBBI BOLAND, Bryan Goluboff's BIG
AL, Richard Vetere's MAKING BOOK, Paul Scott Goldman's
musical TINY DANCER. Mr. Bergman also directed the world
